LOI MACRON

Dear business partners, it is our duty and our obligation to inform you that we are following a common call from members of the Association of Road Carriers of many member states of the EU and express our disagreement with the planned introduction of a minimum wage in France (bundled with the so-called LOI MACRON).

This law, as well as its equivalent MiLog in Germany, quite significantly restricts, complicates and defines the conditions of free enterprise for road haulers in international road transport.


O.K. Trans Praha, spol. s.r.o. as a business entity established in the Czech Republic is obliged to fulfill all legal obligations imposed by Czech legislation. With the advent of Loi Macron, and by extension MiLog, there arises the obligation for the company to additionally comply with, besides its own legislation on the minimum wage, the further legislative measures on the minimum wage of France and Germany that are unclear, illegible, and administratively very demanding. Any financial costs  incurred thereby are borne by our company despite the fact that we are not a business entity permanently operating in France, or Germany, respectively, and only ship to, or respectively, from those destinations as the free market of the EU allows.
