O.K. Trans Praha took part in the Transport Logistic trade fair
The logistics and transport company O.K. Trans Praha exhibited at the prestigious Transport Logistic 2013 trade fair in the German city of Munich. Its dedicated stand was visit by dozens, if not hundreds of current and potential clients over the course of the four-day exhibition.
“We registered the greatest increase in demand for transport to Russia,” said Václav Svoboda, Sales and Marketing Manager at O.K. Trans Praha. According to him, traders from Western Europe are interested in options for transportation to Russia, while the Russians themselves offer logistics centres and cooperation based on knowledge of local conditions. “Yes, this is an interesting region for us too and we are looking at how to offer the highest quality and safest services together with partners from the West and the East,” added Svoboda. Entrepreneurs from other countries of the former Soviet Union and post-socialist bloc are also active in terms of business. “Lots of offers of cooperation are coming in from Lithuania. We also held interesting talks with the Romanians,” said Svoboda.
Potential clients not only require transport, but are looking for a comprehensive logistics solution, which O.K. Trans Praha is able to offer. “Participation in a trade fair like this is of great benefit to us because we have already established a name for ourselves and clients know that we rank among the major players on the European market. In addition to this, our location and our network of licensed partners all over the continent work in our favour. For example, two years ago we established cooperation with Pirelli thanks to the trade fair in Munich. And that’s not a small-scale partner,” explained Svoboda, who, together with company management, intentionally chose a fully dedicated stand. “It brings us nothing but benefits. We have a freer hand, partners and clients appreciate our activity and we also feel more respect,” said Václav Svoboda in conclusion.
The Transport Logistic trade fair has been held in Munich for 30 years. According to the organisers, this is the largest event in its field in the world, with 2,000 exhibitors from 60 countries. It is visited by more than 50,000 people from more than 130 countries on all continents.
